Sahara Wellness Camp
Sahara Wellness Camp Is a group of 6 black tent. It’s a basic desert camp decorated with Berber carpets, And It as real and comfortable Beds in each tent.
The camp is located in heart of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. it’s far from the village and light pollution, This give our camp the best feature to enjoy the Million stars at night and beautiful sunset / sunrise
Our Merzouga Desert Camp is for travelers who would love to experience the Sahara desert in basic accommodation. The nomadic Berber tents are made of camel and goat woven hair.
This campsite is well equipped with comfortable beds, blankets, food and everting else you well need for your stay, and have a shared toilet.
Omar and his family have arranged and set up everything very lovingly. Omar’s family &Hamid, Aziz his brother, will take care of you and cook you delicious Moroccan food during your stay at this camp, of course there is a fireplace and drums. And the starry sky is gigantic in the desert anyway.
From the tents you have a direct view of the large dunes, there is also another shaded area, a place for yoga and very close to the camp is a large wonderful tree with branches that hang down to the ground. The tree offers wonderful cool shade and is really very large.
There is also a tent with toilets, a shower and a shade tent. The hot water and the electricity are fed from our own solar cells – the water is from our own well.
Our Restaurant
We use a big tent as a restaurant where dinner and breakfast are served, also we serve lunch if you have serval days at our camp.
We prepare different type of Moroccan food as : Tagine, Moroccan Salad, Barbeque, Berber Pizza, Couscous and more. Also some drinks as: Moroccan mint tea, coffee, coffee with milk. The Alcoholic drinks are available to purchase.
We also have different options: vegetarian, vegan.
We offer to our guests fresh food and we prepare at at the Kitchen of our camp. if you are vegetarian or vegan let us know to prepare it for you.
